What are Dash Masternodes?
Thanks to the analysis, I became aware of DigitalCash cryptocurrency (you can read more about it here) and that it has great growth prospects. After a little thought, I decided to include DigitalCash in my altcoin portfolio and invested about $5,000 in it.
On the Cake Defi platform, I’m already making money with my coins through staking. I wanted that for DigitalCash as well. Accumulating more DigitalCash at the same time at the current low rate sounds tempting.
Masternodes are particularly powerful servers that protect the network and perform other tasks in addition to storing the entire blockchain. By making a pledge (deposit) to guarantee the operation of their node, masternodes allow us to receive ongoing rewards for our work in the DigitalCash network.
But unfortunately, I don’t have the 1,000 DigitalCash = $42,000 to run the entire masternode. That’s the price of running a masternode and that’s where the StakeCube platform comes into play.
Shared Dash Masternode on StakeCube

On StakeCube there is an opportunity for anyone to participate in the masternode with small fractions, the so-called masternode shares. A share is worth 0.25 DigitalCash. For my investment of $5,000, which currently equals 119 DigitalCash, I can purchase 119 x 4 = 476 Dash Masternode shares.
How much profit will I get from Dash Masternodes?
Currently Dash Masternode reward is about 6% per year. However, the StakeCube platform offers a way to significantly increase this number. We get an additional percentage of our DigitalCash on the platform (this also applies to DigitalCash that are tied to Shared Masternode shares).
There is currently an additional 7.5% annual share in DigitalCash . Masternode rewards and daily interest add up and create a strong compound interest effect due to the daily distribution.
17% return on Dash?

It’s all pretty respectable with a 6% masternode reward + 7.5% bonus – a total of 13.5% per annum. However, anyone who uses SCC masternodes (like me) can increase the daily bonus interest rate to 11.57% per annum. Again, anyone who, like me, also runs SCC Masternodes will receive a bonus.
My current share of StakeCube:
- 10 SCC masternodes (each with 1,000 SCCs) generating SCC rewards + interest on an ongoing basis
- 476 Dash masternode shares (purchased for 119 DigitalCash) generating DigitalCash rewards + interest on an ongoing basis
Risks
Any investment is subject to some kind of risk. So, in my case – the risk of investment is the risk of the platform because we transfer our coins to StakeCube and give private keys.
Conclusion on DigitalCash on StakeCube
Since my StakeCube experience with 10 SCC masternodes so far has been successful, I made another investment and bought Dash Masternode shares.
I’m curious to see if the promised returns come in. Given that the DigitalCash price in a bear market is about 10% of last year’s high, accumulating DigitalCash could be a profitable investment right now.
